Installation:
- Drag and drop into configuration
- Connect audio and Network in Connections
- Adjust the Cinema Rhapsody ADA bus address to 00
- Modify the ADA Lantronix network interface: Browse with Firefox to the IP of your suite and enter admin as username Leave blank the password. Select "Connection" and insert this settings:
- Protocoll = TCP
- Accept Incoming: Yes
- Active Connect: Auto Start
- Modem Mode: None
- Local Port:48716
- Remote Port: 48717
- Remote Host: IP of your C4 controller
- Common Options: Telnet Com Port Cntrl = Disable
- Save with "OK" and "Apply Settings" The Lantronix Network module will restart. - Enter the names of the inputs in the Properties. For example: Input 1 on the ADA is named with DVD-PLAYER -> insert DVD-PLAYER into the field "Name input 1" Without assigning the inputs the driver will not work correctly
- Set the volume offsets for your sources in Properties. The driver will ajust the master volume right after the input was switched.
Notes:
- The second Zone / Record out is currently not fully supported.
- The driver has status and volume feedback to the C4 system.
- It supports all commands that are used for volume, sources, surround-modes. Balance, tones, volume, speakers, PEQ and Dolby volume recalls can be defined in the programming section in composer. Select the "Device Specific Command" in the Actions window.
- All recalls can also be executed from the Actions tab in Composer.
- Volume up/down clicks may not result in a change of the volume feedback. A click only does a 1/2 db step on the ADA.
Programming Variables:
- CURRENT_SURROUND_MODE(string): The Variable can be used to display the actual surround mode on touch panels
- NETWORK_CONNECTION_STATE(boolean): The driver measures the network quality. After 10 failed commands it will change the variable to false. If the connection is re-established this event will change to true.
- NETWORK_QUALITY_INDICATOR(number): This variable can be used to do a detailed analysis from the network connection. Possible values are 0 - 10. 0 = not connected, 10 = perfect connection.
- BALANCE_RECALL(number): Provides the last recalled preset for balance if it was recalled through the driver.
- TONES_RECALL(number): Provides the last recalled preset for tones if it was recalled through the driver.
- VOLUME_RECALL(number): Indicates the last recalled volume preset, if it was recalled through the driver.
- PEQ_RECALL(number): Indicates the last recalled PEQ preset, if it was selected through the driver.
- SPKR_RECALL(number): Indicates the last recalled speakers preset, if it was selected through the driver.
- DOLBY_VOL_RECALL(number): Indicates the last recalled Dolby volume preset, if it was selected through the driver
