Ωmega CB PJ - a zone-preamp of many talents

 

ADA introduces the Ωmega CB PJ, an elegant solution for many applications

The main task of the Ωmega CB PJ (Zone Preamp Junior) is the control of the Audio in a zone provided by the Ωmega CB. Its compact size of 1U height and half width rack space allows it to mount 2 Ωmega CB PJ side by side in a rack. It is possible to mount the Ωmega CB PJ in a zone alternatively, using a wall mount bracket.

Rackspurces and control of the Ωmega CB  are connected via the RJ-45-socket. Local Sources can be connected to the 3 S/PDIF inputs (1 optical, 2 electrical) and the analogue input (Cinch) to the Ωmega CB PJ.

The Ωmega CB PJ comes equipped with a power amp delivering 2 x 20W making it possible to omit a separate power amp in not so large zones.

A decoder for Dolby Digital and dts makes the Ωmega CB PJ compatibel to multichannel soundtracks. These can be reproduced over the 5.1-channel output or downmixed to two channnels.

The Ωmega CB PJ can also be used as a standalone preamp without the Ωmega CB.

Control of the Ωmega CB PJ is via RS-232-code over the ADA-bus.
